Personalisation of Public Digital Terminals for all
This event is the Global Summit on Accessible Mobile Technology for senior citizens and users of all abilities.
The M-Enabling Summit, a joint initiative of the Global Initiative for Inclusive Information and Communication Technologies (G3ict) and E.J. Krause & Associates (EJK), is aimed at promoting mobile accessible and assistive applications and services for users of all abilities.
The third edition of this event was helf last 9th and 10th June 2014 in Washington, USA.
APSIS4all was presented in the session "Studio E – By-passing the Security Hurdle: Biometrics and Bio-recognition". This session focused on "technologies and applications available in the market place today, discuss their future evolution, and will also explore how secure mobile devices may leverage Near Field Communications (NFC) allowing persons with disabilities to interact in a secure manner with electronic kiosks, payment terminals and other types of digitally controlled devices".
